 Our class sessions on “Persuasive Writing”  was informative, although I have been exposed to this genre of writing before these sessions provided much enlightenment on some pertinent information when engaging in this form of writing. The important aspects that  I should consider when writing a persuasive piece are to ensure that I can grab my reader's attention from the start. This can be achieved by the use of statistics, a question, or even a quotation. Also, my body paragraph should consist of evidence that can support my stance and as I conclude I should remember to summarise my position.  

Furthermore, considering that various techniques can be used in this genre such as exaggeration and contrast it, therefore, means that I should expose myself to as much as I can and practice using them so that I can improve on my writing craft.
